I currently accept Aetna and will begin accepting BCBS on 10/31/2024. As an in-network provider, I submit claims to your insurance company as a courtesy. It's important to remember that this does not necessarily mean that speech therapy will be covered by your insurance plan. I strongly recommend calling the number on the back of your insurance card and asking about your plan's speech therapy benefits before booking your initial evaluation.
When calling, these are some of the questions I would ask:

Does my plan require prior authorization for speech evaluations or treatment?

For those seeking Out-of-Network coverage through other insurances, I would still strongly recommend calling the number on the back of your insurance card to ask about your out-of-network speech therapy benefits prior to your initial evaluation. Be sure to ask whether out-of-network speech therapy services are covered and if you can be reimbursed for out-of-pocket speech therapy expenses. I am happy to provide monthly "superbills" upon request for you to submit to your insurance company for processing.

I will do my best to get your child's services covered, but the final decision to cover or deny services falls with your insurance company.
I also accept NC Medicaid, but cannot yet accept Tailored Plans or Managed Care Plans through other providers (i.e. Healthy Blue, UHC, etc.).
